Responsibilities
Improve network architecture to support Operation Technology expansion and growth
Establish naming conventions for network, Wi-Fi, servers, etc
Collaborate in the definition of infrastructure standards
Design Backup and Disaster Recovery plan for all Mfg. locations
Support manufacturing operation providing high availability infrastructure
Provide hands on desktop support to plant users
Perform proper firmware/software update on equipment in accordance with company and vendor requirement
Successful optimization of datacenter layout and connections
Helps identify potential bottlenecks and overutilized network segments
Analysis of current resource usage versus future needs
Support Tickets resolution times within OLA and SLA’s
Increase customers satisfaction
Datacenter optimization
Systems health monitoring
Infrastructure troubleshooting
Continuous improvement based on exposure to systems and processes; systems optimization
Qualification
Required
5+ years of related work experience
Knowledge of storage, servers and Hypervisor (VMWare preferred)
Knowledge of routing firewalls, routers, OOB and switching
Technical certifications from Cisco, Palo Alto, AWS are encouraged
Automation & scripting skills
Understanding of manufacturing operations
Incident and Problem management, ITSM. Automation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong troubleshooting and self-starter
