Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, code quality (SOLID principles), and continuous improvement
Drive the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions using .NET Core and AWS, ensuring systems are low-latency, highly available, and scalable
Act as the primary technical point of contact for Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and Business Stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with trading goals
Maintain 'skin in the game' by contributing to core framework development and conducting rigorous code reviews
Architect and optimize complex database schemas, ensuring high-performance data retrieval and integrity for real-time trading data
Oversee system health, performance tuning, and incident response for mission-critical trading applications
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in .NET / .NET Core (C#), building high-throughput microservices and APIs
Experience in Kafka and RDBMS (SQL Server) is expected
Proven experience designing cloud-native architectures using AWS services (Lambda, EC2, EKS, ECS/Fargate, S3, SQS/SNS, Postgres, and API Gateway)
Strong experience with both Relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, Aurora) databases, including advanced performance tuning and query optimization
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
Significant experience in Capital Markets/Trading
Ability to translate complex technical jargon into business-friendly language for stakeholders and provide clear, concise direction to the team
A proven track record of resolving complex architectural bottlenecks and technical debt in high-pressure environments
