Responsibilities
Finish parts to specification with hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.), portable grinders, hand routers, band saw, and sanding equipment
Sand burrs and sharp machined edges using sanding equipment and hand tools and buffing and polishing metals to correct existing defects
Operate grinding equipment per instructions and the machine manual
Read blueprints and job routers for deburring and finishing specifications
Maintain all deburring equipment and perform maintenance, as necessary
Keep the work area as clean as possible to reduce and minimize Foreign Object Damage (FOD)
Conducts 5S procedures every week
Educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources
Maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures to ensure quality
Accomplishes manufacturing needs by properly communicating job-related issues and working in a team environment
Ensure 100% quality of products by monitoring, training, and inspecting products
Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues as they arise
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1+ year of manufacturing experience
Preferred
Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse, or retail environment
3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management
