Landscape Business Developer

Responsibilities

Identify, pursue, and secure new commercial landscape maintenance and installation contracts
Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, HOAs, developers, general contractors, and commercial property owners
Conduct site visits to assess client needs and recommend landscape solutions
Prepare and present proposals, bids, and service agreements in coordination with the estimating team
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry meetings
Maintain accurate sales activity records in CRM systems
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies
Support upselling of enhancements, irrigation upgrades, and seasonal services to existing clients

Required

Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (commercial services preferred)
Strong understanding of commercial landscape services is a plus
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to build trust and long-term client relationships
Highly organized, self-driven, and results-oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Horticulture, Landscape Management, or a related field preferred
Experience in the landscape, construction, facilities, or property management industries is a strong plus
