Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and enhance in-house software applications
Write, test, and deploy software modifications to meet business needs
Collaborate with other developers and IT staff to design and implement new features
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure system stability
Troubleshoot, identify and fix application bugs
Work closely with business analysts and users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Provide technical support and guidance to other IT team members
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
Perform analysis needed to support the multiple areas of the business in their day-to-day use of the application
Provide information by answering questions and requests
Follow IT change management process
Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Exigence, Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all items
Manage multiple project priorities to successfully deliver solutions to our business owners within defined timelines
Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
Maintain professional and technical knowledge
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
Support the systems afterhours as part of the on-call rotation
Ability to collaborate with the Solutions Architect on projects that span multiple technologies and systems
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position
Qualification
Required
3 years of experience in computer software development using vb.net or C#
3 years of experience developing in WinForms or WPF
Demonstrated experience in the food processing or manufacturing industries
Demonstrated experience with the software development life cycle
Preferred
Experience in the food processing or manufacturing industry
Knowledge of modern programming practices and methodologies
