Responsibilities
Configure and maintain benefits, service categories, and validation policies in HealthRules Payer
Analyze and troubleshoot claims and benefits configuration issues to ensure accurate adjudication
Serve as a senior escalation point for operational tickets (ServiceNow preferred)
Design configuration solutions for new products, benefit changes, and regulatory updates
Assess downstream system impacts and support system releases
Identify trends and recommend configuration or process improvements
Partner with Claims, Customer Service, Product, Clinical, and IT teams
Provide guidance and support to junior configuration analysts
Qualification
Required
3+ years of direct HealthRules Payer experience in benefits and/or claims configuration
Healthcare payer industry experience
Strong knowledge of benefits configuration, claims processing behavior, and medical policy impacts
Experience working in ticket-driven operational environments
Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet SLA-driven deadlines
Preferred
Experience with HealthRules Payer, HealthEdge, or UST HealthProof
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience supporting large-scale payer or core administration systems
