Responsibilities
Lead efforts to manage and scale highly available, cloud‑based distributed systems while driving automation across the environment
Enhance observability and reliability by building monitoring, resiliency, and performance‑health frameworks for mission‑critical services
Oversee deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes across staging and production environments while serving as a key SME for DevOps initiatives
Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, improve systems, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Cloud Engineer supporting large‑scale production environments
Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
Strong hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services, Linux operations, Kubernetes, Docker
Proficiency with automation and CI/CD toolsets such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Git
Experience with SQL Server and Postgres, including performance tuning, backup, and recovery
Strong scripting ability in Python, Java, or Shell
Solid background in network security technologies: DNS, VPN/VPC, IDS/IPS, subnets, ACLs, security groups, HA/DR, IAM, WAF, and key‑management solutions
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent hands‑on experience)
