Responsibilities

Provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, mentoring, and guidance to Real Estate technical and functional staff to strengthen system knowledge, problem-solving, and cross-functional capability
Lead or facilitate departmental workgroups or special projects to expand or enhance Real Estate capabilities and ensure alignment of system changes with Real Estate operational policies and statutory requirements
Serve as senior backup to Real Estate Administration by supporting operational decision-making, workload prioritization, process alignment, and staff coordination
Define, maintain, and communicate the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for Real Estate platforms in alignment with the Auditor’s strategic goals and statutory requirements
Partner with leadership to prioritize initiatives and investments that maximize efficiency, transparency, and public service value
Lead planning, coordination, and execution of Real Estate system upgrades, releases, integrations, and enhancements across departments and vendors
Develop and oversee monitoring, reporting, and testing processes to validate system performance and security post-upgrade or patching
Ensure ongoing compliance with data integrity, audit, and security requirements
Support periodic compliance reviews and produce required documentation or evidence for audits
Oversee release validation, post-deployment monitoring, and performance testing to ensure system stability, security, and reliability
Document and continuously refine how business processes intersect with Real Estate systems functionality
Partner with Auditor, Treasurer, and other stakeholders to optimize workflows, streamline user experience, and resolve complex system and operational issues
Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships, including Tyler Technologies and other system providers, by negotiating priorities, managing escalations, and advocating for County needs
Act as a thought leader and advocate for Franklin County within the Tyler Technologies community, influencing best practices, product direction, and system enhancements

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
Eight (8) years of experience in systems administration, product management, project management, or business systems leadership roles within enterprise software environments
Any combination of training, education, or experience which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position

Preferred

Experience within government, financial, tax, or GIS systems
