Responsibilities

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to nonrepetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables
Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions
Sets initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws
Make continuity checks on work in process and completed
May conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions

Required

Ability to speak, write and understand English to comply with written procedures, instructions, SOPs and other documents
Ability to use microscopes, assemble small parts
Work standing or sitting for the entire shift
