Performs a variety of laboratory experiments and procedures
Prepares specimens
Oversees supply management
Operates and properly maintains equipment
Conduct various laboratory experiments and assays under supervision of the Principal Investigator related to genetic analysis, histological processing of tissues, cell culture experiments and microscopic imaging
Organize, analyze, and review the resulting data and troubleshoot experiments including validation of new assays
Responsible for administrative oversight of large projects, scheduling, managing Redcap database of participant medical information, de-identifying participant information, and responsible for data entry
Responsible for supporting laboratory training of students, post-docs, and fellows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
1 year of experience
Experience in real-time TaqMan PCR
Managing laboratory supplies
Tracking orders
Preferred
Master's degree in Biology
