Data and Insights Coordinator
American Sugar Refining, Inc. is the world’s largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, producing a full line of sweetener products. The Data and Insights Coordinator supports New Product Development by transforming product, quality, regulatory, and project data into usable insights and maintaining accurate information in SAP and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

Responsibilities
Extract, validate, and analyze data from SAP, PLM, and related systems
Identify and resolve data gaps, inconsistencies, and quality issues
Support ad hoc data needs for new products, reformulations, packaging changes, and regulatory/quality reviews
Maintain accurate product and packaging specifications in PLM
Ensure regulatory, quality, and technical attributes meet compliance and documentation requirements
Support PLM workflow governance, approvals, and change management
Train teams (Product Development, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations) on PLM and specification processes
Develop job aids, guides, and best practice documentation to improve system adoption
Act as a PLM resource for users across the organization
Perform regular audits of PLM data, workflows, and documentation
Identify areas for improvement and recommend process and system enhancements
Support continuous improvement and stronger data governance
Explore and support the extension of PLM/specification processes into Operations facilities
Partner with Operations teams to assess readiness, documentation needs, and alignment with corporate standards
Help improve consistency between corporate and facility level data practices
Qualification
Required
Experience with ERP or PLM systems (SAP preferred)
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with SQL, BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), Python, or advanced Excel
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently across multiple priorities
Knowledge of the Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field

Multilingual is preferred (English, Spanish, Portuguese)
