Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services location
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or local authorities as required by post orders
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobby spaces, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity
Control access by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as directed, and directing visitors and deliveries to the proper locations per site procedures
Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and report maintenance concerns and/or hazards observed during rounds
Qualification
Required
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
CPR certification is preferred
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred
