The role involves coordinating the administration of various state and federally funded programs, including grant/contract administration and budget monitoring, while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversee the training of unit processes and procedures to new and experienced staff

Research and create SOPs and training material pertaining to Medicaid eligibility and the processing of Medicaid claims

Required

Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, social/behavioral sciences, health sciences, public health, education, law or related field OR experience in the development of operational policies and procedures, performing quality assurance analysis/evaluation of programs; grant writing, contract management, or leading community based health/social care groups. Related coursework, training and/or education may substitute for the Bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis

Preferred

One plus year of customer service experience and/or office/administrative experience

Billing and data entry experience

Experience with the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), as well as the Hyland OnBase ECM Imaging system

Solid level of expertise in Word and Excel or other business hardware and software experience

Regular and reliable attendance
