Responsibilities
Provide Project Engineering support
Provide Project Design support
Assist in the standardization of a product offering
Contribute value by giving input, sharing knowledge, and challenging the status quo
Work and be curious to learn and jump in to add value
Prepare a final presentation to the leadership team highlighting the impact made at Atlas Copco
Qualification
Required
Must be able to travel to Sweden from 8/23 – 8/28. Passport Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, in your junior year with a minimum GPA of 3.3
Successful completion of Computer-Aided Design and Engineering (CAD) coursework required
2 months or more of experience with 3D CAD software
Basic understanding of engineering mechanics (statics)
Familiarity with manufacturing tools and processes
Responsible for mechanical design tasks related to solution production
Ability to work 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling
Must have reliable transportation to and from the work location
Preferred
Completion of a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) course preferred
