Responsibilities
Provide emergency assistance for victims and survivors of domestic violence seeking assistance
Provide emotional support, crisis intervention and safety planning
Provide referrals and linkages to supportive services
Gain understanding and knowledge of survivors needs
Assist with navigating services that survivors may be entitled to
Advocate for victims of domestic violence through compassion and understanding of the barriers they face
Scheduling and administrative tasks, including case conferences for case solutions
Complete contract and/or regulatory compliance activities
Participate in rotating supervisor on-call system that requires some nights and weekends
Promote a work culture of inclusion and belongings
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required with 5 years related experience
Valid and clean NYS driver's license is required
Reliable transportation
Proof of education is required
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3 or more years of related experience
Associates Degree preferred with 4 or more years of related experience
