Responsibilities
Mentoring the team while actively coding and architecting robust, scalable full-stack solutions
Taking ownership of critical projects by designing and developing scalable, secure and full-stack applications and building robust APIs and microservices to enable seamless data integration
Leading architecture and design discussions while writing clean, maintainable code alongside your team
Balancing strategic leadership with day-to-day development, driving automation, championing automated testing, and collaborating closely with teams to deliver intuitive, user-friendly products
Actively participating in Agile processes, mentoring your team, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation throughout the product lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Python and/or Java development (Node JS & JavaScript are plus)
Well-versed in Spring Frameworks
Skilled in scripting and automation to support cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows
Experience with AWS services including ROSA, ECS (Elastic Container Service), EKS (Kubernetes), Fargate, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, and infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
Understanding of AWS security best practices and cost optimization strategies
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, ECS, Kubernetes (EKS or ROSA)
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
Background designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based systems
Knowledge of and ability to apply architectural design patterns and principles for building scalable, maintainable services
Experience building and managing data integration services to facilitate seamless data flow across systems and databases
Understanding of engineering best practices, integrating testing frameworks, security measures, and DevOps principles throughout the development lifecycle
Experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalents), championing test automation to improve product quality
Experience managing and integrating large-scale data stores or high-volume transactional databases
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database architectures, including query optimization and data modeling
Hands-on experience with AWS RDS, AWS Aurora, and understanding of data security best practices and compliance frameworks
Good knowledge of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate effectively with design teams
Preferred
Experience building and managing data integration services to facilitate seamless data flow across systems and databases (add-on)
Familiarity with Newton or similar data integration frameworks is a plus
Proficiency or strong familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React and/or Angular
