Responsibilities

Leadership of the interceptor avionics electronics engineering team, encompassing guidance/navigation/control (GN&C) products and subsystems
Ensuring Manufacturing support and troubleshooting that supports program schedules
Experience and expertise with full product life cycle. Knowledge of the definition, interpretation, and implementation of design requirements, coordination and execution of hardware designs, development and integration of hardware in accordance with all Lockheed Martin Space engineering process specifications
Interface with organizations across the enterprise including planning, manufacturing, and test engineering to ensure the delivery of products

Required

Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Project Technical Leadership or formal Management experience throughout the engineering life cycle
Demonstrated experience in high-reliability electronics hardware development and/or test experience
Demonstrated experience with electronics products sustainment, production or development
You will typically have 10+ years of professional experience for this role
If selected, you will be subject to a government security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen

Preferred

Oral and written communication to successfully facilitate effective and efficient interchanges with employees, coworkers/peers, all levels of and with customers
Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement processes for improved production along with a focus on Design for Excellence (DfX)
In-depth background and experience of aerospace electronics design/architectures to manage risk and identify mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives
Previous experience in a management role with direct reports
Demonstrated ability to work in a cost and scheduled constrained environment
