Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts across browser, mobile, API, and system-level testing
Perform system integration testing involving both software and hardware to ensure throughput, performance, and consistency
Analyze business and technical requirements to define test strategies, test plans, and requirement traceability
Execute a wide range of testing activities, including Acceptance, Regression, System, Functional, Integration, and limited Performance testing
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and DevOps teams to define QA needs and support implementation and deployment
Create, maintain, and execute overall test plans and test strategies
Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and document issues clearly within ticketing systems
Identify testing dependencies, risks, and concerns related to release schedules and system readiness
Support end-to-end testing cycles in physical lab environments
Contribute to and support CI/CD pipelines, including automated build, test, and deployment processes
Support trials of new infrastructure designs and services
Lead and manage QA-related tasks while mentoring junior and mid-level QA engineers on best practices and coding standards
Follow established Agile methodologies, QA processes, and best practices to ensure high-quality releases
Establish strong working relationships across teams and support cross-BU collaboration and release planning
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing
Experience testing both software and hardware systems (device or instrumentation testing experience is highly preferred)
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience testing applications deployed on AWS and/or GCP
