TARGET SYSTEMS REPAIRER

The Wyoming Army National Guard is seeking a Target Systems Repairer to join their team. The primary purpose of this position is to repair, install, operate, and maintain a variety of Army Standard Integrated Target Systems, ensuring their optimal functionality for military operations.

Responsibilities

Installs, removes, maintains, modifies, troubleshoots, and repairs voice and/or nonvoice communications systems including intercom equipment; electronic systems; terminal communications equipment; modem; fiber-optic end equipment; T1-carriers, and line drivers
Installs thermal target equipment to include, but not limited to, AC or DC powered thermal heating panels
Isolates faulty components and determines extent of repair or replacement required to restore power, signal, or correct mechanical operation
Inspects and tests Army Standard Integrated Target Systems, using wiring diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and test equipment (i.e., voltmeters, multiplexers, miniature consoles, and digital multi-meters)
Operates and maintains wheeled vehicles assigned to the shop

Required

Military affiliation is required
Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a T3/SECRET security clearance
Must possess experience or training which demonstrates the ability to use and maintain electronic and electrical equipment, components, and ability to perform repairs and testing
Must possess experience or training demonstrating knowledge of electronics, test equipment, measuring devices, and equipment used to assemble and disassemble, clean, replace, or adjust target systems and control panels
Must be proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, specifications, and wiring diagrams to aid in minor troubleshooting and repairs of defected equipment
Must have a valid driver's license
Selected candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Range Safety Level 2 certification AND a Wildland Firefighting Red Card within 12 months of employment
