2+ years expBayforce is seeking a highly skilled and motivated TDIR Analyst to join their Threat Detection & Incident Response team. This role is critical to their cybersecurity operations, focusing on Endpoint Detection & Response, incident handling, and threat hunting.

Responsibilities
Lead and support incident response activities across the full lifecycle: detection, containment, eradication, recovery, and documentation
Conduct proactive threat hunting and detection engineering using EDR tools (CrowdStrike preferred)
Develop and optimize SPL queries and dashboards in Splunk to support threat detection and investigation
Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to produce actionable insights and improve detection capabilities
Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays as needed
Contribute to automation and innovation in detection workflows and response processes
Support cross-functional security initiatives and projects
Qualification
Required
Strong incident command skills driving clear action plans, assigns owners, and maintains tempo during high severity events; escalates with precision and context
Strong sense of accountability with the ability to independently prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and maintain momentum during high tempo security events
2-5 years in Security Operations/Incident Response (or equivalent hands on SOC experience)
Advanced proficiency in Splunk (SPL, dashboards, threat hunting)
Preferred
Experience with threat intelligence lifecycle (Diamond Module) and platforms (e.g., Recorded Future)
Familiarity with network protocols and infrastructure; CCNA certification is a plus
Experience in detection development and automation through hypothesis-driven research
Certifications a plus: GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, GMON, GNFA, OSCP, CCFA
