Responsibilities

Perform daily accounting activities including maintaining and verifying financial transaction records
Prepare and distribute client invoices according to contract terms
Monitor and apply cash receipts and support timely accounts receivable collections
Enter accounts payable invoices, employee expense reports and process cash disbursements
Maintain W-9 documentation and support year-end 1099 processing
Audit financial records and prepare bills to ensure accuracy and compliance
Support project managers with budget tracking and financial reporting
Serve as a liaison between project managers, internal teams and clients on project financial matters
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial practices
Ability to analyze accounting records and prepare financial statements and reports
Knowledge of classifying, recording and summarizing financial data
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Preferred
2–4 years of accounting or finance experience preferred
Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll or general accounting is a plus
