Tooling Engineer - Intern
Lockheed Martin is a leader in aerospace and defense, and they are seeking a highly motivated engineering student for an internship in their Rotary and Mission Systems division. The intern will be responsible for developing new tooling concepts, ensuring compliance with design requirements, and presenting tool concepts for approval.

Responsibilities
Develop new tooling concepts
Present tool concepts to their lead and customers for review to obtain approval to proceed to detailed design and tool build
Ensure tools are developed and produced in compliance with Sikorsky design requirements and customer expectations
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Experience with CAD, 3D
Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance application
MS Office products
Strong background in additive manufacturing processes and applications preferred
Preferred
Experience with CATIA
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, design of mechanical components, Statics & Dynamics
