New GradErgon Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineering Co-Op to support operational and production teams by applying industrial engineering principles to improve efficiency, quality, cost, and delivery performance. This role provides hands-on experience in process improvement, facility layout design, lean manufacturing, and cross-functional project collaboration.

Responsibilities
Assist with designing and improving layouts of equipment, materials, and workspaces to maximize efficiency; support implementation of approved changes
Apply industrial engineering tools and methodologies to improve process capability, eliminate defects, improve on-time delivery, and achieve cost-saving targets
Facilitate and promote Lean Manufacturing methodologies across production activities and work processes
Participate in cross-functional project teams focused on continuous quality and process improvement
Conduct time studies, motion studies, capacity analyses, and utilization studies
Identify, analyze, and implement improvements related to cost reduction, quality enhancement, workflow optimization, and delivery performance
Participate in assigned operational and engineering projects as needed
Organize information and prepare customer-facing written deliverables in accordance with the Ergon Procedure Writer's Guide
Confer with customers and subject matter experts to determine technical content and requirements
Edit and revise technical, operational, and administrative documents prepared by other contributors
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3.0 GPA required
Ability to commit to three consecutive semesters in the co-op program
Current enrollment as sophomore in Industrial Engineering degree program
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel as required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a team-based environment
Preferred
Knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
