Tixy Tech is seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with ServiceNow Platform experience for an on-site contract role in Dallas, TX. The candidate will design, build, and integrate backend systems with the ServiceNow platform to support enterprise IT workflows, automation, and system integrations.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot

Design and expose RESTful APIs for ServiceNow and enterprise systems

Optimize backend performance, security, and scalability

Implement authentication, logging, and monitoring solutions

Customize ServiceNow using Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer

Build and manage REST/SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and Java services

Support and enhance ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, and CSM modules

Troubleshoot and resolve platform and integration issues

Build secure integrations using OAuth, SSO, API tokens, and middleware

Automate workflows between ServiceNow and external platforms

Handle real-time and batch data integrations

Use Git, Maven, Jenkins/GitLab CI for CI/CD

Containerize applications using Docker

Deploy and monitor services on AWS/Azure environments

Work on-site with architects, ServiceNow admins, and product teams

Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and technical design sessions
