L5 Electric Powertrain System Technical Lead

The Electrification & Energy Solutions Division is seeking a System Integration Technical Lead to integrate electrified powertrain components and define enterprise strategies for electrification, working closely with industry segments to drive market growth and product development.

Responsibilities
Interface and respond to internal and external customer inquires
Manage projects with outside engineering suppliers and services
Manage and interface with internal rapid development teams
HV System design and integration
Collaboration with component teams for component selection
Electric or mechanical drivetrain systems (design or simulation)
Motor / generator systems (design or simulation)
Power electronics / power conversion systems and controls (design or simulation)
Machine or systems controls collaboration
Machine integration, performance, or simulation
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
Extensive experience with product development experience (NPI, NTI, CPI) specifically in performance, simulation and controls at machine, system or component level
Expert knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives
Extensive experience and knowledge of effective team building techniques; ability to form and manage effective teams
Extensive experience and knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project
Extensive experience and knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment
Extensive experience and knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production
Preferred
Power electronics or electric machine design; electric drive systems design, modeling and/or simulation experience
High voltage system integration experience
Machine systems application experience
Ability to think beyond incremental design
