Responsibilities
Must have experience in testing steel, concrete, aggregate and other miscellaneous construction materials used in construction
Coordinate with supervision for the testing of required test
Complete training requirements assigned
Review of field test results and assures that of associated documentation is correct and properly filed
Interface with engineering office to resolve design and constructability issues relative to the results
Assist superintendents and subcontractors in understanding the test results
Assure that materials are stored properly to ensure environmental protection
Reviews specifications, inspection results and technical data
Qualification
Required
Must have experience in testing steel, concrete, aggregate and other miscellaneous construction materials used in construction

University/B.S degree in Engineering with 5-8 years of experience is desired but may be waived if 9-12 years relevant industry experience can be demonstrated
Experience with Bechtel direct hire craft preferred
Contract management experience
Understanding of applicable Bechtel work processes including Standard Work Process Procedures is preferred
Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs) including InfoWorks, TEAMWorks, BPS, PTR, eSub and other automation tools which are used on Bechtel projects is an asset
Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications
Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards
Excellent communication and problem solving ability
