Responsibilities
Design and develop new features for customer-facing web applications
Collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams to iterate on new ideas
Write secure, performant, and well-tested code aligned with engineering best practices
Participate in code reviews and help uphold quality and maintainability standards
Troubleshoot performance and optimization issues across the application
Work effectively in an agile, fast-moving, and highly collaborative environment
Contribute to a positive engineering culture through communication, mentorship, and teamwork
Qualification
Required
4+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong experience with React and Node.js
Hands-on experience with Next.js (frontend) and NestJS (backend)
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts
Experience building and supporting web applications in production environments
Familiarity with relational and/or non-relational databases
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of DevOps concepts and modern deployment practices (Serverless, Kubernetes, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills, especially around performance and scalability
Preferred
Experience supporting or integrating with Java / Spring –based services
Background in product-focused, startup, or enterprise environments
Experience working with distributed or global teams
Comfort operating in a highly iterative, agile development process
