The COI Intern supports resident services by assisting with the coordination of programs and events for residents of all ages, providing hands-on experience in nonprofit operations and community-based programming.

Responsibilities
Support relationships with onsite and external service providers
Assist in coordinating resident programs for all ages based on community interests and needs
Help supervise and support volunteers during programs and events
Assist with collecting and organizing resident survey data to identify community needs
Participate in regular check-ins and meetings with COI Operations Manager
Help connect residents to local resources (rental assistance, food access, workforce training, tutoring, etc.)
Collaborate with staff and residents to help plan resident meetings and community events
Qualification
Preferred
College student interested in community development, social work, public policy, nonprofit management, or related fields
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for supporting low-income communities and a commitment to racial equity and justice
