Community Health Regional Program Manager
MedStar Health is currently seeking a Regional Program Manager, Community Health to join their team. This role involves overseeing daily operations, staff management, and community engagement for the community health programs in the Baltimore region, ensuring operational efficiency and improving health outcomes.

Responsibilities
Supervise the day-to-day operations of multiple community health programs, ensuring effective coordination, implementation, and administration. Lead the development and execution of operational strategies to achieve department goals while ensuring adherence to organizational policies, quality standards, and safety regulations
Lead efforts in data collection, reporting, and analysis to evaluate program outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement. Track expenses, oversee billing and collections, and ensure financial targets are met for grants and broader operational budgets
Collaborate with clinical leads to implement new technologies, systems, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient and staff satisfaction. Coordinate outreach efforts to engage with internal teams, healthcare providers, and community organizations, aligning program objectives with local health needs
Manage operational workflows, including patient care services, staff coverage, scheduling, provide back-up support during peak periods and absences, and overseeing documentation workflows in the electronic health record
Select, train, orient, and assign department staff. Develop standards of performance, evaluate performance, and conduct performance management planning. Initiate or make recommendations for personnel actions. Maintain ongoing communication with subordinates to review programs, provide feedback, discuss new developments, and exchange information
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Social Work, Health Administration, Business, or related field
3 - 4 years' experience in Population health program management, project management, or managing public health initiatives including the supervision of staff
Preferred
Master's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Social Work, Health Administration, Business or related field
1 - 2 years' experience in Finance, Data analysis, Grant Management, and Community Outreach
Worked with electronic health records (i.e., Cerner, Athena IDX)
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure, RN BSN
CPHM - Certified Professional in Healthcare Management - Project Management Professional (PMP) or Healthcare Administration OR LCSW - License Clinical Social Worker
