Responsibilities
Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system
Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability
Monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption
Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software
May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists
Administer network security measures
Other duties as assigned or required
Qualification
Required
Ability to obtain Yankee White access clearance
Minimum 2 years system administration experience
CompTIA Security+ certification
Knowledgeable / proficient in the use of Microsoft operating systems
Troubleshoot tier 1 support issues
Ability to manage / maintain various types of servers and security requirements
Security conscious in all aspects
Familiar with Azure and virtualization
Resourceful / problem solving skills
Works independently
Self-starter
Organized
Detail oriented
BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience, OR AA/AS degree and 5 years related experience, OR HS and 7 years related experience
Active Top Secret required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc
