Wind Technician, Intern
Invenergy is North America’s largest privately-held wind power producer, and they are looking for students to gain valuable industry experience through their Wind Technician Internship. Interns will work at a designated energy center, observing technicians and learning basic turbine operation and maintenance tasks while ensuring safe and compliant operations of wind fleets.

Responsibilities
Observe work of Invenergy technicians
Learn how to perform basic turbine operation and maintenance tasks
Help ensure the safe, compliant, and profitable operations of existing Invenergy wind fleets
Qualification
Required
Targeted completion of a Certification Program or Associate's degree between May 2026 and May 2027
High school diploma or equivalent
Completed OSHA 10 training
Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance, and work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet)
Ability to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 pounds)
Weight must not exceed 120 kg (265 lbs.) excluding equipment/gear worn when performing job related tasks
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future
