Responsibilities
Design and implement predictive and prescriptive models for regression, classification, and optimization problems using advanced techniques such as structural time series modeling and boosting algorithms (XGBoost, LightGBM)
Train and tune models using Python, PySpark, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into end-to-end data science solutions and integrate models into business processes
Rapidly prototype, test hypotheses, and build automated workflows for model monitoring and performance evaluation
Create dashboards using tools such as Databricks and Palantir to visualize metrics like model drift and explainability (e.g., SHAP)
Build repeatable paths from experimentation to deployment across batch, streaming, and low-latency endpoints
Own and operate ML platform components including model registry, feature store, experiment tracking, artifact stores, and CI/CD pipelines
Author robust data and ML pipelines using Airflow, Step Functions, or Argo
Implement observability, data validation, drift monitoring, alerting, and governance practices
Mentor team members and troubleshoot production issues across data, model, and infrastructure layers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience with Python (pandas, PySpark, scikit-learn), ML modeling, and experimentation
Hands-on experience with SageMaker or equivalent platforms (Kubeflow, MLflow/Feast, Vertex, Databricks ML)
Strong experience with ML pipelines, orchestration tools, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Working knowledge of Snowflake, CI/CD practices, feature pipelines, testing, and model monitoring
Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and an operational approach to ML systems
Preferred
Experience in retail or manufacturing is a plus
