eMed is a health-tech company delivering a comprehensive GLP-1 weight management program. They are seeking a Summer Business Development Intern to support their Government Department during an 8-week internship, focusing on market research and onboarding new Account Executives.

Responsibilities

Conducting market research and data compilation to finalize the segmentation of target accounts (ideal customers w/propensity to buy) across State, and Local government, as well as the Education sector. Potentially Fed (TBD)
Focus on self funded states, targeting states with current programs that cannot facilitate a GLP-1 direct from manufacturer carve-out program
Work w/consultants to coordinate meetings state by state
Assisting in the creation of initial contact lists and databases for each of the new AE's geographical and segment-specific territories
Developing internal and external-facing foundational documents and presentations tailored to the specific needs of the new Government Group
Assisting in RFP response

Required

Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program (business administration, sales, or related field preferred)

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Candidates must be willing to work onsite at our Miami, FL headquarters
