MCPP- Engineer Mechanic- Utilities - (Philippines)

KBR is involved in supporting the Marine Corps' Prepositioning Program, which plays a crucial role in national security. The Engineer Mechanic will be responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of fuel, water, and hygiene equipment and systems in support of the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance actions that follows the contract Statement of Work and adheres to Marine Corps policy and procedures
Perform maintenance actions involving repairing, adjusting, servicing, and storing fuel, water and, hygiene equipment and systems
Support equipment readiness, maintenance shop organization, control of maintenance assets and provide advice on all matters relating to fuel, water, and hygiene systems maintenance. Review invoices and requisitions to plan work activities
Maintain proficiency in all maintenance functions
Inventory repair parts and equipment and requisition replacement stock
Provide requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies
Comply with personnel and administrative policies, procedures, and government regulations
Comply with established safety regulations, and method and procedures for handling and storing various equipment and materials
Comply with MCPP-PHIL ISO policies and procedures, work specifications, and time schedules
Interpret specifications, drawings, work orders, technical instructions, and layouts
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Associate degree or coursework towards a BS degree in mechanical engineering or another related field
In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credits, professional certification, formalized training, or education, and directly related work experience may be considered
Four years of progressive experience with specialized knowledge of maintenance and logistic support activities involving hygiene systems maintenance
U.S. Citizen
U.S. Stateside Driver's License
U.S. Passport
FBI Background investigation with no criminal, civil, or security violations
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Philippines Work Permit

Preferred

USMC MOS 1171
Understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and orders
Industry Certification
Working knowledge of military storage procedures
Expert knowledge of general maintenance procedures for military tactical equipment and supplies
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position
