Responsibilities
Analyze design develop test and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL TELON IMS DB DC JCL MicroFocus and EZTrieve
Develop and enhance batch and online processing programs for high volume transaction systems
Perform impact analysis debugging and performance tuning to ensure optimal system behavior
Manage and optimize data files transactions and system interfaces
Collaborate with business analysts architects and data teams to integrate Mainframe systems with Third Party Electronic Databases and Provider Enrollment platforms
Develop and maintain SQL based interface files supporting ETL processes
Contribute to data warehousing and Informatica integration initiatives for modernization and reporting
Participate in code reviews follow coding standards and maintain technical documentation
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring minimal downtime
Support migration conversion and modernization initiatives as part of enterprise transformation efforts
Qualification
Required
Play a key role in the analysis design development and maintenance of mission critical enterprise Mainframe applications
Work extensively with TELON COBOL IMS DB DC JCL MicroFocus and EZTrieve technologies
Ensure system reliability data integrity and high performance across batch and online environments
Support Third Party Electronic Databases and Provider Enrollment Systems
Apply strong knowledge of data handling data warehouses and interface file management using SQL and Informatica
Operate effectively in a collaborative fast paced and compliance driven environment

Experience with SQL interface development Informatica ETL tools and data warehousing
Ability to analyze complex data structures and design scalable optimized workflows
Strong communication documentation and cross functional collaboration skills
Excellent analytical debugging and problem solving abilities
Preferred
Eight plus years of hands on experience in Mainframe application development and maintenance
Experience with enterprise data integration legacy modernization or healthcare provider systems
Familiarity with federal and state government project environments compliance and audit standards
Exposure to Agile or SAFe methodologies
