Insight Global is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a client’s team, where the engineer will write and maintain Python code and support AWS cloud infrastructure. The role involves maintaining CI/CD pipelines, performing Bash scripting, and ensuring the reliability of production AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Writing and maintaining Python code
Using Airflow for workflow scheduling
Supporting AWS cloud infrastructure built with Terraform
Maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
Performing Bash scripting in a Linux environment
Supporting Databricks workflows
Helping maintain the reliability and performance of production AWS infrastructure across the Experimental Data verticals

Qualification

Required

Very strong Python experience
Hands‑on AWS Cloud experience
Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
CI/CD experience with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions

Experience with Databricks
Workflow orchestration experience (Airflow)
PhD in a STEM field
Experience supporting large‑scale production environments
