Responsibilities

Develop, curate, and oversee all written content across diverse marketing channels
Create content for in-person training programs, mathematical programming modeling examples, user case studies, white papers, eBooks, website content, digital marketing materials, and infographics
Effectively communicate the business value of optimization and the Gurobi Optimizer through written content
Lead the development of high-impact thought leadership pieces, bylined articles, and analyst-facing narrative documents that shape market perception
Translate executive narrative and Product Marketing positioning into a scalable content framework that guides all storytelling
Own and execute Gurobi’s global content and PR campaign strategy, setting overall direction across regions and PR agencies to ensure consistent, high-impact storytelling aligned with business priorities
Ensure clarity, credibility, and relevance for business and executive audiences while enabling scalable execution
Establish standardized reporting and executive dashboards to assess content performance, content-driven revenue attribution, and PR effectiveness
Lead the design and ongoing evolution of Gurobi’s centralized Content Hub to scale content creation, reuse, and performance globally
Define how flagship content is designed for reuse across channels and formats to maximize reach, consistency, and impact
Partner closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales Enablement, Academic, and executive stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across campaigns, launches, and field-facing content

Required

Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred
10+ years of experience in personally leading technical content development initiatives
Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role, preferably in a relevant industry or field
Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, organize, write, and edit compelling technical content
Effective cross-functional collaboration with technical experts
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with a strong editorial point of view
Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels—setting direction while personally creating content
Strong judgment around narrative focus, content prioritization, and quality
Clear and concise communication of complex information to various audiences
Maintaining style consistency across related documents
Managing content development and refresh schedules
Proficiency in using relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
Demonstrate a consistent ability to generate a substantial volume and variety of high-quality content
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a non-technical or business audience

Preferred

Experience in the analytics/AI software domain or a background in creating technology-related content
Self-motivated: Initiates engagement with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders within Gurobi, partner organizations, and customer organizations to gather input for content
Process-oriented: Manages end-to-end content creation and coordinates multiple projects from concept to completion. Constantly seeks to enhance existing processes and practices
Driven and versatile: Consistently produces plans, manages content calendars, and works toward achieving content marketing objectives
Collaborative: Collaborates effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align content efforts with marketing and corporate goals
