Test Technician
Extant Aerospace is a leading innovator in the aerospace industry, seeking an experienced Test Technician to perform component-level troubleshooting and repair of complex electrical and mechanical assemblies. The role requires strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity to support high-quality, efficient production operations.

Responsibilities
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic assemblies and test equipment, including component-level analysis of digital, analog, and RF circuitry
Set up and operate standard and specialized laboratory equipment, such as environmental stress screening systems and computer-controlled test instruments
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on test equipment
Measure parts to verify compliance with specifications
Disassemble and reassemble production assemblies and equipment as needed, inspecting components for defects
Maintain accurate and legible records of daily tasks, test results, and data entries in computer databases
Develop formulas and innovative techniques to support troubleshooting of production failures and field returns
Collaborate with engineers to develop test procedures and evaluate prototype circuitry and trends in production failures
Crosstrain and assist fellow technicians on ongoing projects
Provide training and support to technicians, assemblers, and other personnel as required
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Eligibility to work with export-controlled products and related data without restriction
High School Diploma or GED required; a two-year technical degree is preferred
Minimum of four years of direct experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated proficiency in component-level troubleshooting is mandatory
Strong attention to detail
Excellent manual dexterity
Ability to interpret complex instructions and technical drawings
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic assemblies and test equipment, including component-level analysis of digital, analog, and RF circuitry

Must be able to support standard business hours, Monday through Friday
Must also be able to support overtime on weekdays or weekends as required to support business needs
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
