Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain core services, APIs, and data workflows that leverage the latest generative AI technologies
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to translate complex product requirements into elegant, scalable solutions
Drive architectural decisions informed by both product insights and clinical expertise
Build and maintain diagrams, documentation, and whiteboarding artifacts for complex systems
Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and ensure observability with tools like Datadog
Apply security best practices, enforce comprehensive testing, and ensure production reliability
Conduct detailed code reviews and mentor junior engineers to uphold high standards of code quality and documentation
Qualification
Required
Proven Python experience in production environments
Strong understanding of backend services, APIs, and modern web architecture
Familiarity with diagramming/documentation tools (e.g., Lucid)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Track record of delivering high-quality software in fast-paced environments
5+ years of software engineering experience
US Citizens and Green Card holders only
Must have start up experience
Preferred
Healthcare experience preferred
Experience or interest in Go
Exposure to data processing, ML/AI, or generative AI workflows
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
