Responsibilities
Perform detailed mechanical system design, including system approach and equipment selection
Develop mechanical room layouts and coordinate system interfaces with clients and project teams
Produce 3D Revit models and 2D AutoCAD drawings
Prepare project drawings, specifications, calculations, and supporting documentation
Conduct surveys, code analysis, and assist with construction administration
Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders throughout project delivery
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in HVAC and Plumbing design
Strong knowledge of commercial and institutional building mechanical systems
Working knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, and regulations
Proficiency in Revit (3D) and AutoCAD (2D)
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering OR a 2-year technical degree with applicable experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
Positive attitude and professional work ethic
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required
Experience designing healthcare, educational, commercial, or government facilities
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
