Responsibilities

Researching, compiling and examining a variety of transportation data

Support Transportation Engineering studies with a focus on roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design, and computer aided design and drafting

Perform routine functions such as performing engineering calculations and analyses under supervision

Proofreading and copying technical and non-technical reports as well as specifications

Assisting staff with a variety of projects and/or field assignments

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite or similar software

Basic experience with engineering design / modeling software

Experience with MicroStation ORD or AutoCAD Civil 3D

Experience with application specific analysis software
