Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–4 years of network security engineering experience
Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall platforms (Checkpoint preferred; Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, SonicWall acceptable)
Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, proxy, DNS)
Experience supporting VPNs, routing, and segmentation
Experience working with distributed teams and shifting priorities
Network security tools (Wireshark, Snort, Nagios or similar)
SIEM monitoring and incident analysis
NetFlow traffic analysis
Firewall policy management and troubleshooting
Network fundamentals (routing, NAT, VLANs)

Preferred

Algosec, Panorama, or vendor firewall management tools
Automation scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar)
Cloud networking security
Healthcare or regulated environments
