Responsibilities
Define and guide the organization’s enterprise AI strategy aligned to agency goals and service outcomes
Recommend AI/ML use cases that improve operational performance and user/citizen experience
Partner with executive leaders and technology teams to prioritize, plan, and govern AI initiatives
Establish and reinforce frameworks for responsible AI, data governance, compliance, transparency, and accountability
Lead strategic planning and change management activities to support AI adoption at scale
Build strong cross-functional partnerships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders
Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for executive and non-technical audiences
Support roadmap development and phased implementation planning for AI capabilities
Monitor and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and relevant program management experience
Experience with AI technologies, machine learning, and data governance
Experience in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and change management
Experience in government or public sector environments
Strong written/verbal communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field
5+ years of progressive experience in AI strategy, data analytics, or IT leadership
2+ years of direct hands-on or applied experience with AI/ML and data governance
5+ years in strategic planning, change management, and stakeholder engagement
5+ years of government/public sector experience
