Responsibilities
Collaborate on the design and integration of hardware systems ensuring adherence to changing requirements and specifications
Finalize/update drawings, support equipment moves, rack and stack of equipment and integration of compute equipment into a shelter for deployment
Experience/interest in power/cooling or site construction and traveling to support installation and configuration events would be a plus
Support system-level testing and verification processes, ensuring hardware meets all specified requirements and standards
Utilize clear technical writing to document design alterations, prepare status reports, and develop design specifications and validation plans
Maintain a proactive attitude in meetings with cross-functional teams, demonstrating initiative and professionalism while engaging with colleagues and stakeholders
Position may require occasional travel to support field activities and hardware deployment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 0+ years of relevant experience
Active TS/SCI clearance at the time of application
Experience with hardware design and integration processes
Familiarity with power, RF, and fiber electrical signal principles and applications
Preferred
Experience with complex system architectures and hardware validation procedures
Demonstrated knowledge of the impacts of requirement changes on hardware design
Knowledge of electronic components and their applications in communication systems
Previous experience in a fast-paced engineering environment with a focus on field support operations is desirable
