Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy machine learning models and analytics solutions
Develop and automate data-driven pipelines, integrating end-to-end in-database machine learning solutions
Use advanced Python programming to implement data preprocessing, modeling, and evaluation in JupyterLab environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable AI/ML solutions
Optimize and monitor model performance, ensuring security and compliance with Oracle best practices
Contribute to the adoption of AI/ML best practices and innovative analytics strategies within the organization
Create thorough documentation and provide knowledge transfer sessions related to OCI-based machine learning workflows
Qualification
Required
Experience working with cloud infrastructure service stacks, including Database, Compute, Object Storage, Identity and Access Management, and Key Management
Demonstrated expertise in using database technologies in conjunction with AI/ML and data science frameworks
Strong proficiency in Python for data science, including frameworks such as scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, etc
Experience working in JupyterLab environments for collaborative AI and analytics work
Solid background in AI/ML algorithms and workflows
Experience with complex data analysis and data science tasks using SQL, including data model design
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
Preferred
Oracle Cloud certifications (OCI Data Science, ADB, etc.)
Experience with MLOps practices and DevOps in cloud environments
Familiarity with secure cloud architectures and enterprise compliance standards
Prior experience working in a global enterprise setting

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
