Global Program manager with product development experience
Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences is seeking a Global Program Manager with extensive product development experience. The role focuses on enabling the commercialization of new product initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful launch of medical devices while maintaining project budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities
Develop realistic cross functional projects or program implementation plans with input from other functions, e.g., R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial
Ensure this cross functional project or program implementation plan includes detail Microsoft Project Schedule, rolled up workstream level summary using Office Timeline Plus, Action Log, Risk Log, Decision Log and RACI
Utilize the relevant PM tools for project planning, monitoring, and reporting
Maintain project budgets and timelines
Set project milestones and report progress accordingly. Consider alternative approaches and take corrective action as needed to ensure project milestones are achieved
Provide project management support for and guide the efforts of third-party organizations (vendors, suppliers, contractors, etc.) to enable achievement of shared milestones
Fulfil management role in terms of organizing project teams, facilitating communication between resources, guiding technical, financial, business and personnel conflict resolution and monitoring budget administration
Identify and implement opportunities that will improve Client's ability to implement and deliver quality products in a cost effective, compliant, and timely manner
Support the development of the Program Management process for the PDS&T organization
Comply with the EHS policy and procedures and demonstrate EHS best practices in all work activities
Continually be conscious of your own safety and that of others, always complying with safety notices and barriers
Report any EHS incidents and/or Near Misses (unsafe acts and conditions) immediately to your supervisor and always raise the event in eAchieve
Support a culture of EHS excellence by recognizing and submitting opportunities for EHS improvement on eAchieve
Attend all required EHS training and medical surveillance programs

PMI Qualified
Operations and Product Development Experience in Devices
10 – 15 years' experience in Device and Pharma industry
Lean black belt or Green with significant facilitation / workshop experience
proficient in Project Management tools & techniques and Program Management experience
Degree in Engineering / Science or related discipline
10+ years of diversified business experience, including operations support/quality at plant level for medical products and/or medical devices, supply chain, validations, capital and expense management, and commercial product launches
Knowledge of good R&D practices and design control
Knowledge of medical devices and pharmaceutical industry (or Combination products) is required
5+ years of medical device and pharma experience is required
High level of competence with all Microsoft packages including Microsoft Project
Broad, diverse, cross-functional, and cross-divisional experience
Able to think strategically and creatively
Able to establish and maintain credibility as a leader
Ability to comprehend complicated global product movement plans and logistics
Ability to drive change throughout the company; results oriented
Familiar with overseas operations and cultures
Delivers results with a minimum amount of direction and supervision
Communicates results, actions, decisions, concerns in a timely manner
Decisive; moves quickly to core issues while avoiding tangents and/or excessive detail

PMI certification is highly desirable
