They are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to blend front-end and back-end work to ship end-to-end features on the ChatGPT Apps platform and SDK.

Responsibilities
Build and ship mission-critical features in the ChatGPT Apps SDK and broader platform
Collaborate with Product Management, Security, Trust & Safety, Research, and Engineering to design and deliver developer-first experiences
Own features end-to-end: from early design and technical direction through implementation, launch, and iteration
Build scalable services and APIs, and develop polished UI surfaces that support publishing, discovery, and app capabilities
Help set enduring technical direction—shipping foundations that become new product areas over time
Contribute to team best practices in testing, architecture, and overall SDLC quality
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer comfortable moving between frontend and backend to deliver complete features
Ability to build and ship mission-critical features in the ChatGPT Apps SDK and broader platform
Experience collaborating with Product Management, Security, Trust & Safety, Research, and Engineering to design and deliver developer-first experiences
Ownership of features end-to-end: from early design and technical direction through implementation, launch, and iteration
Experience building scalable services and APIs, and developing polished UI surfaces that support publishing, discovery, and app capabilities
Ability to help set enduring technical direction—shipping foundations that become new product areas over time
Contribution to team best practices in testing, architecture, and overall SDLC quality
Preferred
Experience building developer tools or platforms (SDKs, integrations like Slack apps, open source libraries, or experience at developer-tooling companies)
Product-oriented mindset and enjoyment in collaborating with cross-functional partners to shape great user/developer experiences
Ability to ship quickly without compromising quality, security, or performance
Excitement to build foundational platform capabilities that will scale with a rapidly growing ecosystem
Familiarity with React and Python
