Remote - Senior Financial Analyst I
Mercy is a healthcare organization seeking a Senior Financial Analyst I to support operational and strategic decision making through financial analysis. The role involves preparing, analyzing, and presenting complex financial information, overseeing the monthly close process, and assisting in the annual budget process.

Responsibilities
Preparing, analyzing and presenting complex financial information to support operational and strategic decision making
Providing financial support to the organization including oversight and analytical support for monthly close process
Coordination/assistance in annual budget process
Preparation and review of account reconciliations and annual audit schedules
Various other financial analyses
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited college or university
Minimum of five years accounting or financial analysis experience
Demonstrated knowledge with financial applications and processes
Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to work with leadership teams
Ability to frame analytical questions, perform financial analyses and communicate related results
Computer literacy with intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently to meet project deadlines
Ability to work with and preserve confidential information
Preferred
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
CPA preferred
Healthcare financial reporting experience
Experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft PowerPoint
