Responsibilities
Lead general laboratory operations including housekeeping, organization, and maintenance of workspace cleanliness
Receive, process, and accurately label incoming samples according to established protocols
Maintain adequate inventory levels of labware and coordinate receipt of supplies
Prepare buffers and reagents following standardized procedures
Operate and troubleshoot genotyping production equipment to ensure optimal performance
Review and archive task-related documentation in accordance with laboratory standards
Follow Employee Safety and Health guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures at all times
Maintain a safe and compliant work environment
Manage multiple concurrent tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality
Interface effectively with manufacturing and research personnel across departments
Work collaboratively with multiple supervisors as needed
Qualification
Required
Detail-oriented professional who can independently manage sample processing, inventory control, and reagent preparation
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
Commitment to maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards in a fast-paced laboratory setting
