Responsibilities
Design, program, troubleshoot, and support Allen-Bradley PLC-based control systems , including remote I/O and HMIs
Develop and maintain industrial automation solutions using Rockwell Automation software
Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues to minimize downtime
Design and oversee electrical control systems from concept through implementation
Support industrial Ethernet communications and machine network layouts
Ensure compliance with equipment safety standards , including NFPA 70E and arc flash requirements
Manage capital and expense budgets to meet plant objectives
Coordinate and oversee contractors and maintenance technicians as needed
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in industrial automation within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and Rockwell software
Proven ability to troubleshoot and program PLC-controlled systems
Experience with industrial networking and machine communications
Solid understanding of electrical safety, component selection, and control hardware design
Strong work ethic with a self-starter mentality
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field
Experience managing contractors and maintenance personnel
Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
